Janel has over 15 years experience with earning the prestigious recognition of making Modern Salons Top 100 Hairdressers in 2019. Hair color, Customized color and blondes are her specialty. She also offers Bridal, updos and styling as well.

Though a Cleveland, Ohio native, she has been coming to Florida every year since she was a baby. She admits this is why she has felt her heart has always been in Florida! She has over 15 years experience in the beauty industry. Her passion is to not only be creative with new hair trends and fashion but to make others feel a true sense of happiness inside and out! Janel is a huge proponent of education and believes the pursuit of always expanding her skillset is key and you never stop learning in this industry. In addition to the opportunities she has had to train under leading celebrity stylists, her training pursuits have also included many classes with Aveda, Original Mineral Academy in NYC, Lakmé, Cezanne Keratin, The 901Academy "Intro to Bootcamp" in West Hollywood, Vidal Sassoon Haircutting in Miami Beach, Triple Threat Balayage with Ashlee Norman in NYC and Masters of Balayage in San Diego, California to name a few. She is also an educator to her peers. As a Fanola Artist and Product Club hair accessories artist, she travels to teach salons/stylists the latest hair color techniques and trends.

 

Throughout her career, Janel has had the opportunity to work both in a salon as well as own her own salon and admits she misses being part of a team. This longing is what drove her to pursue a home at House of Blondes. She will be traveling to Naples every 6 weeks for two weeks at a time to accommodate her current Florida clients as well as her new guests as we start to grow our #HOBTravelTeam.

Fun Facts:  Janel loves to cook! She's Italian and admits she I doesn't measure when cooking and her clients always ask her to make a recipe book to have at the salon!
