Kate
COLOR & EXTENSION SPECIALIST, SPECIAL OCCASION
Originally from Long Island, New York, Kate began her career in Long Island and a celebrity salon on 5th Ave NYC before settling in Ludlow, MA. Like many in her field, Kate knew since she was a little girl she wanted to be in the hair industry. She has been in the industry for 17 years and still loves it as much as she did at year 1. She trained with Rita Hazan and Nicci Welsh, among many other big names in the industry.
Kate holds the highest level of color authority and accreditation as a Global Elite Master Color Expert (MCE) and is an amazing addition to our House of Blondes Travel Team as she splits her time equally between our salon and her salon in Ludlow, Massachusetts. As an MCE graduate, she has access to the MCE Alumni community, a resource to the latest industry insights and exclusive tips from the world’s most elite educators and colorists.
Kate specializes in color services, mostly blondes, while also offering hair extensions and Keratin treatments. Her dream client is one who values their hair as a necessity and not just a luxury; someone who has always struggled finding a colorist who does blonde well and is able make “all their blonde dreams come true”.
Her future aspirations focus on continuing the ability to bring new, creative ideas to change her client’s personal experience to keep providing top-tier, next-level service. She prides herself on her clear communication skills, confidence and certainty.
Fun Facts: Beyond the salon, Kate loves to travel! She’s all about adventure and new experiences. She is also a huge foodie and loves to try new restaurants. “Dining outside in good weather is bliss for me.” She enjoys boating & spending time with her growing family.
